Dear Dear Sweet-Inside-And-Out Kalyani invited us

to create Valentine’s moments to remember forever.

Kalyani MAKES the chocolate that goes into the molds.

She melts cacoa butter lovingly and mixes in more magic to

create confections that rival the moon’s summer singing.

She also tie-dyed that apron herself!

And one I took with my “good camera” last night around sunset…

Please note — the kids and I are NOT professional candy wrappers. (Yet.)

Oh — Kalyani’s favorite pic is the one of just the two girls, I’ve titled “Getting Along.”

Our daughters have been flung into this whirlwind friendship of Kal’s and mine.

At times they’ve fought like kid sisters.

But K. and I have never had a harsh word to each other in these 4.5 years since we all met at Kung Fu.

And  probably never will.

Loving communication is the key.

Kalyani’s The Magic Fuzzy Pants Lady too!

AND she writes beautiful songs.

AND sings like an angel.

AND helps me map out my harmonies.

AND is super cute and beautiful, as you can plainly see with your eyes and heart.

AND is a great mom.

So, we tap on weird little things called computers

to buy stuff we’ve never seen from people we’ll most

likely not meet until at least year 1, 459, 397, 682.

Kinda like in the days of butter artisans when Hilda,

Dot and Mary Katherine with their silver silk bustles

a-swishing, didst order from les grands catalogs.

Gold hair clips often. And mirrors made from melted sand

and the dust of wind-whipped chariots of uncorseted desire.

And seeds, oh yes — seeds whose children keep on singing.

Great News!! And 3-Part Harmony For You

The great news… my FF55 is ready to post next Thursday, 5:55 TEXAS Time!!

Which is the same as Tulsa time, I do believe?  Which I’ve been living on.

Anyway..

I SO wanted to snag YAHTZEEEEEE at G-Man’s yesterday to win fame and glory, but…

that would’ve meant taking an Internet break in the recording studio.

Luckily, I came to my senses and said,

“Jannie, you’re here to sing. So sing!

The 55 will keep another 7 days.”

So I sang.

And the 55 is keeping just fine so far.

While Captain George was mixing, I did pop over to G-Man’s to comment from my iPhone, tho! Good Jannie!!
