Unsubscribed, Baby!

This week I took action and unsubscribed from about 50 companies’ mailing lists I’d let build up over time. And boy do I feel great, having freed my energies for more meaningful pursuits like rooftoop yodeling and knitting with kelp.
Was more than high time to part ways with ghosts of the past like One Step Ahead, Bare Minerals, South Beach diet (so over that,) Amazon.com, etc.
And Jim’s online trading companies. Sorry Honey, but you haven’t used those sites in ages, same for your Voice 123s. Don’t be mad. I was purging – letting in lightness and air. Simplifying! Can’t you feel a weight lifting now too? (Please note I did lovingly leave your Woodie Wagons and Old Fords e-mails intact. Knew better than to mess with those. Oy vey.)
No such luck with spam tho. Viagra, aarrrg – so sick of those mails. Millions waiting for me in Nigeria. Canadian meds too, (altho a valium fuzz does sound tempting now and then.) Can’t get rid of ’em all, I guess.
Have you unsubscribed lately? It’s almost as satisfying as chasing a three-legged goat. (I’m a four-time World Champion 3-legged goat wrangler. Love it!)
In all humility…

I’m so kicking ass with figuring out this WordPress thing and it’s only been, what – 5 days since I finally took the plunge?
I’ve even been learning how to edit HTML by trial and error!
Who knew?
Admittedly, the man who designed the theme is a real sweetie and has helped me via email some, so I’m not doing it all on my own, but still, I’m really getting right in there and bustin’ some code butt today.
Now, to get my Google ads back and start making that $1.75 a day again!
Whee-hoo.
Jannie, finally with comments !!!

Yes sir, that’s our baby!! (She turned seven last week and had to take her youngest-songwriting-contest-entrant-to-date trophy to her birthday dinner – naturellement.)
Yay, I did it! Jannie with WordPress. Who knew?
